Tony Ramos

Tony Ramos has been married to Bea for 38 years and has two sons, Tony, Jr. (daughter-in-law Jenel) and Ruben. He is an attorney specialihas been an elder or church leader at Grace Bible Church, Laredo since 1983. In 1989 Grace Bible Church affiliated with the EFCA and Tony began his involvement with the denomination since then. Tony serves on both the National Board of Directors of the EFCA (since 2008) and on the Texas-Oklahoma Board of Directors of the EFCA (since 200??).

Pastor Mark is a 1988 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served as Senior Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church in Lake Jackson, Texas for 15 years. He has been married to his wife Julie for twenty six years. They have two daughters and one son; Melanie, Leslie, and Stephen. Pastor Mark is a former student of Texas A&M University and worked as a biologist before entering the ministry. He enjoys camping, fishing, reading, and playing computer strategy games.

Treasurer

Kevin has been employed at Wayside Chapel since 1994. Since 2001, he has served as the Treasurer on the EFCA Texas-Oklahoma District Board. In his spare time, he assists other EFCA district churches with their accounting and payroll. He regularly speaks at conferences as well as meets with various churches’ leaders on the issues of clergy tax law, clergy compensation planning, church accounting, and internal controls. From late January to mid-April, Kevin also has his own individual income tax practice. Kevin and his wife, Lisa, enjoy reading, going on cruise ships, going on international mission trips and hanging out with their yellow Labrador, Punkin.

Joel Walters has served as Pastor of Grace Church for 19 years, having previously served churches in Arkansas and Chicago.  He and his wife Laurie have 4 children.

He attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, the EFCA seminary in Deerfield, Illinois.

Pastor Bill was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a 2000 graduate of Cedarville University and a 2004 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. Pastor Bill joined the staff at Grace in September of 2000 and served in a variety of ministry roles until becoming lead pastor in June of 2007. He and his wife Mandy were married in 2003 and have two children Nathan and Caroline.

Pastor Bill is an admitted sports fanatic and is a huge fan of his beloved hometown Cincinnati Reds. He likes to run, golf, and play baseball in his backyard with his son Nathan. He is passionate about seeing people come to faith in Christ and watching the growth of new believers whose lives have been changed by Christ. His life motto is “never run alone”.

Tom worked as a civilian scientist for the air force for 35 years and served in leadership at his church for nearly 25 years. After retiring he went to work on staff at his church, Northeast Bible Church in Garden Ridge, TX, as Director of Missions. Retiring from that in 2006, he now concentrates on his ministry—TK Outreach, a ministry to international military, with his wonderful wife Karin. He also serves as the EFCA Tx-Ok District Missions Coordinator, and acts as a District Point Person for Credentialing.

Superintendent

Dr. Bob Rowley serves as the District Superintendent for the EFCA Texas – Oklahoma District. Bob and his wife, JoAnn, have three grown children and one grandson, and live in San Antonio, Texas.

Bob serves on the EFCA Board of Directors and the National Start Churches Team. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and teaches church planting there, Talbot School of Theology, and the College of Biblical Studies.
